Osea Island is a tranquil spot that lies in the estuary of the River Blackwater, Essex. It is a regular paddle of Elizabeth Cannon who suggested it as a time-trial. And why not?
It is 3 miles around, though a little tidal planning is required to ensure you have enough water to make the lap!
