Anglesey Masters - Malltraeth Madness
Course: Start: On the beach close to Newborough Warren car-park (SH 403,632)
Turn point: Malltraeth, River Cefni sluice (SH 407,687) -- Paddle up through the sluice and turn on the upstream side.
(or touch the vertical stone wall if the sluice is flowing - but you're lucky to get there if that is the case!) Note: This route dries at low-water. (Part of Anglesey Masters series.)
Note: This area includes fast-moving flow, tideraces, cliffs and exposed and isolated coastline. It can be surprisingly uncomfortable here at times, conditions can change rapidly - do not underestimate them.
