Nestled between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland, the Isle of Raasay is an ideal single day challenge. The route is long enough to provide a good challenge, but doesn't take a huge chunk out of your life. Raasay also has enough tide to require good planning, and of course it is endowed with spectacular views.

Notes

Ian Dring / Zoe Newsam (12-Jun-15)
Zoe and Ian actually completed a lap of Raasay + Rona, but we don't have a separate table/page for that just yet. The addition of Rona adds around 11nm to the distance.

Chris Wade (22-Jul-23)
