Anglesey Masters - Rhoscolyn Beacon
Course: Start and Finish at the west slipway, Treaddur Bay (SH 253,790) - or the closest point on the beach at low-water. Turn Point: Rhoscolyn Beacon (SH 264,741) - round the Beacon island and return to the slipway. (~15nm) (Part of Anglesey Masters series.)
Note: There is a small seal colony on Rhoscolyn Beacon, leave enough room to prevent disturbance to the seals.
Note: This area includes fast-moving flow, tideraces, cliffs and exposed and isolated coastline. It can be surprisingly uncomfortable here at times, conditions can change rapidly - do not underestimate them.
