Anglesey Masters - The Skerries
Course: Start by the car-park at the EAST end of the beach at Cemlyn Bay (SH 335,932), round the Skerries Lighthouse (SH 268,948) and return to the beach start at Cemlyn. (~8nm)
(Part of Anglesey Masters Series.)
Note: Seals will be found around the Skerries and there is a seal colony in the central lagoon, leave enough room to prevent disturbance to the seals.
Note: This off-shore area includes fast-moving flow, significant tideraces, and isolated coastline. It can be extremely challenging here, conditions can change rapidly - do not underestimate them.
