Portages

• No portages on single-day 'Performance' routes.
  
  
• Portages may be allowed on Multi-Day routes or PSK Challenges where it is necessary to bypass man-made features such as locks, weirs, barrages etc.
  
  
• Portages are not allowed to circumvent natural features on tidal waters such as headlands, tide races etc.
  
  
• Any portage should be for the minimum distance necessary.
  
  
• Specific portage rules displayed on PSK route pages take precedent.
