Performance Sea Kayak Info
Site Technical
My technical abilities slant more towards paddling than website construction so please be patient.
The site has been tested on:
- Internet Explorer (7 onwards)
- Apple Safari
- Google Chrome
- Mozilla Firefox
PSK is optimised for Google Chrome (as of 2018). Though it also works on the alternative browsers, formatting may show incorrectly at times.
PSK is not currently optimised for mobile platforms.
Some legacy files are displayed in Adobe .pdf format; in order to view these files you may need to download Adobe Reader:
Sortable Table Headings
These are provided by the 'sorttable' script from Stuart Langridge: http://www.kryogenix.org/
You must have Java Script enabled to use this feature.
Google Chrome Cache:
PSK webpages are regularly updated, the cache within Google Chrome can prevent formatting updates being diplayed at times.A 'Hard Reload' of the page by pressing 'Ctrl+shift+R' will bypass the cache and show the latest page update.
It is also useful to clear the Google Chrome cache now and then.
Click 'more' (3 dots) top RHS -> 'Settings' -> Scroll down and click on 'Advanced' -> Under Privacy and Security, open 'Clear Browsing Data' -> select 'Cached Images and Files' -> 'Clear Data'
Alternatively a 'Hard Reload' of the page by pressing 'Ctrl+shift+R' will bypass the cache and show the latest page update.
If you find any issues then please Contact PSK.
PSK2 - The Revamp

The original PSK website was starting to bulge at the seams a little, so a revamp was necessary. From the earliest days we had wanted to show details of the many impressive paddles people were undertaking, we just didn't have the space for all of them. That's where PSK2 came in.
We now have much more room on the site - as well as room for many more records and trips, we also have a new PSK Archive, details of PSK Coaching and have included a version of the PSK facebook page within the site.
Most tables can now be sorted by clicking at the head of the respective columns.
All the extra space means we need to find new data to fill the gaps. Where you see gaps on the tables it doesn't mean that nobody has completed that challenge yet, just that we are still to hear the details. If you know then please get in touch...
If you find any issues then please Contact PSK.
