Circumnavigations: Isle of Bute

Guarding the entrance to the Firth of Clyde, the Isle of Bute provides an island destination which is easily accessible to many but gives a more remote feel. Bute also offers relative shelter and a short circular route for those looking to hone their circumnavigation planning skills. Though the island is a regular circumnavigation destination, the lack of records here reflects a need for more info rather than a reflection on the numbers of paddlers who have completed this trip.
